The Traitors take Soho Farmhouse
A surprise 30th birthday turned into a weekend of chaos, competition and cunning at Soho Farmhouse. From inflatable obstacle courses and a stolen croquet mallet to a dramatic Traitors-style finale - complete with secret murders, ghostly twists and a firepit showdown, this was grown-up playtime at its finest. Dive into one of our favourite immersive adventures yet.

When you think of turning 30, you might imagine a sophisticated dinner, a good few cocktails, maybe a banner or two and some balloons. But when our client got in touch about planning a birthday weekend at Soho Farmhouse, subtlety was nowhere on the agenda.
Originally pitched as an immersive Traitors-themed takeover for the whole weekend, the brief evolved into something even better - a jam-packed itinerary of epic activities, games, and surprises, all culminating in a nail-biting, suspiciously fun Traitors finale. A birthday bash with all the glitz of Claudia Winkleman, all the drama of a murder mystery, and enough mayhem to make your average party look like a book club.
Friday Night: Game Show Showdown
We kicked off the chaos by splitting the group into four fiercely competitive teams that would stick together (and occasionally turn on eachother) throughout the weekend. Friday night saw a no-holds-barred Sharky & George Game Show packed with music rounds, general knowledge face-offs, and a brilliantly awkward game of ‘Mr & Mrs Birthday Boy’. Things escalated quickly with a high-energy round of Hide and Seek (restricted to the room), a tape measure challenge that defied gravity, and a wildly theatrical game of “Clothes Horse” that would have made Milan Fashion Week blush. It was fast, it was funny, and it was ferociously competitive.

Saturday Morning: The Inflatable Gauntlet
While the rest of the guests snoozed in comfort, the men were spirited away to a nearby field where we’d installed the world’s longest inflatable obstacle course. It was like Total Wipeout meets military boot camp, but with beer goggles and smoke gredades.
The course came with all the Sharky & George classics:
Ankle Breaker
Water Babies
Water Bomb Catapult Battleships
And a gloriously chaotic game of Archery Tag, made 100x more epic thanks to some smoke grenades

Saturday Afternoon: The Quest for the Stolen Mallet
Back at Soho Farmhouse, it was time for everyone to get stuck in. The scene was set: Lord Tew’s legendary croquet mallet had mysteriously vanished, and the group was on a mission to track it down. What followed was an immersive afternoon quest full of unexpected twists - one moment they were getting competitive with garden games, the next they were sketching each other in a chaotic life drawing challenge or creating edible art masterpieces. There was even an escape room called Break the Safe, complete with code-cracking and teamwork under pressure. Balloon ambushes kept guests on their toes, while photo and video missions added a touch of creative madness. With every challenge completed, they collected clues via an interactive map, inching closer to unmasking the culprit. Let’s just say - Sherlock would’ve been proud.

Saturday Night: Traitors Finale
This was the big one. The final night. When the guests arrived, they found the dining room completely transformed -low lighting, atmospheric music, and a very convincing Fraudia Winklemann ready to welcome them to their Traitors experience.
Everyone was handed blackout eye masks and noise-cancelling headphones for the secret Traitor selections, and from that moment on, the tension was real. One by one, the Faithful started to fall, but there was still hope, roundtable debates, whispered theories, and some very confident finger-pointing made sure of that.
The missions were properly hands-on: a memory challenge that caught more than a few people out, a UV map hunt that revealed hidden secrets under glowing light, and the now-infamous Grid of Doom, run by some creepy clowns.
As players were murdered or voted out, they came back as ghosts - still part of the action and with one final group vote that could shift the outcome. It all came down to the Firepit Finale, where coloured flames revealed who was sticking to their story, who was faking it, and who got caught out. In the end, the Faithful pulled it off... just in time for some cake and nightcap!

THE HIGHLIGHTS
The inflatable morning madness - grown men in beer goggles launching water bombs? We could’ve sold tickets.
The immersive production of the Traitors evening - from sound and lighting to the characters and chaos, it was utterly gripping - you could have heard a pindrop.
The sheer enthusiasm from the whole group - there wasn’t a single passenger. Everyone leaned in, laughed hard, and played harder. By Sunday, they were gloriously exhausted - mission accomplished.
We’ve always say that grown-ups make the best big kids, and this weekend was proof.
