Here are some of our favourite Summer party ideas:
Corporate Sports Day Event
Who's it for: Groups who are up for a bit of friendly competition!
How many people: 20-200+
Where: Large outdoor spaces
Duration: 3 hours+
The details:
What better way to celebrate summer than with an epic sports day involving all of your employees.
We will take care of all of the fun with lots of old school sports day activities with a Sharky & George twist.
Activities might include:
- Tug-of-war
- Rounders/Dodgeball tournament
- Water bomb catapulting
- Space Hopper Derby
- 3 legged water races
- Egg and spoon race
- Sack races
There are also plenty of extras you can include such as a bucking bronco or giant inflatable course.
The day will finish with us tallying up the scores before the all important awards ceremony, where the winners will be revealed along with a wooden spoon for the losers and some extra prizes for certain enthusiastic individuals! This is a day that will get the whole company laughing, competing, and having the best corporate day out ever.
Corporate Adventure Race
Who's it for: Teams who would like to incorporate several different activities/experiences
How many people: Groups of 40+
Where: Privately hired space, indoors or outdoors
Duration: 3+ hours
The details:
One of our most popular summer parties for businesses is an adventure race, partly because it can be tailored to any size, any location and any duration but also because everyone will come away feeling incredibly happy and energised.
The Adventure Race consists of a variety of physical, tactical, photo and video challenges that guests will need to complete as a team. Some challenges are silly, some are daring and some are pretty outrageous however one thing is for certain, everyone will come away with some great memories and a sense of achievement as well as lots of silly photos!
Some Adventure Race activities might include:
- Photo/Video Challenges- take on various photo and video challenges as a team, such as a human pyramid, all in the air or your team appearing in their own 20 seconds nature documentary.
- Water bomb catapult- teams land water bombs on targets with a 3 person catapult. They can gamble by going for further targets for more points.
- Memory room- guests will be given the chance to enter a room and study the details. How good are your memory skills?
- Minute to win it- this station consists of a number of speed challenges that each team completes in 60 seconds. Challenges include things like smartie sucking, the after 8 race and flip cup and stack.
S&G Summer Wellness
Who’s it for: All groups
How many people: We can cater to any group size
Where: Your offices, a hired space, a colleagues home a beach or park…we will come to wherever you are!
Duration: As short or as long as you would like!
This is a great summer event option for any group looking to take a step back, relax and unwind. Activity options can include goat yoga, petting zoo, silent discos, meditation, gong sound bath, spa treatments and more.
These options are flexible in terms of location and can come along to wherever you are located.
The Quest
Who's it for: Smaller teams who are up for a challenge!
How many people: Anywhere from 5-70 would be most suited
Where: Across London! With a starting point (usually office space), and a final location (ideally pub/restaurant).
Duration: From 1.5-3 hours
The details:
Quests are our take on a treasure hunt and are a staple summer team building offering at Sharky & George. We can begin The Quest at the office or at an alternative location, and also help organise the end location if you’d like to incorporate dinner/drinks as the finale to the hunt.
Teams will be given a bespoke map or an app and will be taken on an adventure where they will encounter mysterious characters and undertake a number of challenges along the way. They will meet mysterious figures on footpaths, approach characters at the local pub or at famous landmarks all while completing as many puzzles, clues and challenges as they can to help them finish the quest.
Bespoke Summer Party
Who’s it for: All groups
How many people: We can cater to any group size
Where: Your offices, a hired space, a colleagues home…we will come to wherever you are!
Duration: As short or as long as you would like!
