Adventure race at skibo castle

One of the most effective and popular activities we organise for company teams is the Adventure Race, partly because it can be tailored so accurately to any group, any location or time frame, and partly because whether you’re a director or intern, everyone will come away feeling incredibly happy and energised.

It consists of a variety of physical, tactical, photo and video challenges that guests will need to complete using teamwork, communication and careful strategy to gain maximum points.

With a range of fun activities to take part in, we’re sure everyone will come away with a number of great memories and a sense of achievement for completing the challenges as well as lots of silly photos!

The Games

Each challenge was crafted with the enchanting Skibo Castle in mind. We made the most of the stunning and secluded corner of the eastern highland. Read below, to get the details of each activity. Think your team has what it takes to conquer them all?

Outside Adventures:

Loch Ospisdale Canoe Dash: Navigate the waters adjacent to the Swimming Pavilion off Jetty, racing against time to conquer challenges at marked points.

Skibo Castle Quest: Dive into the enigmatic Gun Room within Skibo Castle, solving puzzles, deciphering riddles, and cracking locks to amass your treasure trove of coins.

Boat Relay Bonanza: Race boats within the confines of the Gun Room, turning the swimming pool into a high-stakes aquatic relay.

Memory Clubhouse Challenge: Head to the Library and flex your memory muscles. Memorize every detail and face the Quiz Master for a barrage of brain-bending questions.

Water Bomb Bullseye: Test your aim near the Carnegie Tree Garden with two water bombs at your disposal. Will you aim for the tricky shots?

Tracker Challenge: Walled Garden becomes a treasure trove. Utilize tracking devices to unearth coin stashes hidden within the time limit.

Inflatable Obstacle Odyssey: Navigate the South Side Lawn's inflatable obstacle course at breakneck speed, keeping an eye out for bonus coins.

The Stores Gambling Den: Visit the Castle Foyer to invest wisely and gamble with the master in games.

WhatsApp Location Fugitive: Keep your phone on high alert as a live location on WhatsApp leads teams on a race to discover and capture the fugitive for coin rewards.

Safe Crack Challenge: Stay sharp and observant throughout the game area to crack safes and claim your rewards.

Picture Challenges: Unleash your creativity across the game area, earning points for your daring compositions.

Things to Gather Hunt: Scour the entire game area for the best examples of specified items, aiming for maximum points.

Black & White Box Code Break: Seek out lock-boxes with chalk codes scattered throughout the game area, solving 4-digit puzzles for hidden rewards.

Assassins Water Bomb Warfare: Brace yourself for enemy forces armed with water bombs. Hit them for coin gains or concede a coin if you get hit.

Inside Escapades:

Swimming Pavilion Boat Race: Engage in a boat relay race like never before within the confines of the Swimming Pavilion.

Skibo Dungeon Hunt: Explore the secrets of the Gun Room, solving puzzles, deciphering riddles, and unlocking trails to amass your cache of coins.

Memory Clubhouse Challenge: Immerse yourself in the library, memorizing intricate details and facing the Quiz Master's series of challenging questions.

Scottish Delicacy Quiz: Head to the dining room to savor Scottish delicacies. Answer correctly to earn the most points.

Art Class Extravaganza: Unleash your artistic prowess inside the castle, racing against the clock to create the most impressive piece of art.
