Magical Worlds

With each family member choosing a favourite story, this celebration became a joyful collision of fairytales, imagination, and adventure. Set within a beautiful Berkshire estate, children journeyed through Neverland, Narnia, Wonka’s Factory, and Hogwarts before a magical tea party in Wonderland, followed by an epic disco. Every pathway led to a new world, and every turn held a surprise. This experience is one that will remain in the S+G hall of party fame.

The Brief

Create an immersive, large-scale adventure inspired by the family’s most-loved stories. The experience needed to feel seamless, visually spectacular, and full of moments of wonder, allowing children to move freely between worlds while remaining completely immersed in the narrative.

Concept
 Creation

We designed a roaming storybook adventure, transforming different areas of the estate into distinct fairytale worlds. Each location featured its own set design, characters, games, and challenges, carefully woven together so the experience felt fluid and surprising rather than staged. The emphasis was on discovery, storytelling, and playful interaction, allowing the children to become active participants in every scene.

Event Delivery

Our team transformed the gardens, treehouse, barn, and open spaces into a series of fully immersive worlds. Children were led on their journey by familiar characters along the way – from Peter Pan and Mr Tumnus to Professor Snape and the Mad Hatter – with each world unfolding naturally as the story progressed. Bursts of high-energy play were thoughtfully balanced with calmer moments, building towards a spectacular finale before gently winding down into an overnight camp-out under the stars.

Key Moments

Neverland

Guests entered Neverland by ziplining straight into a treehouse, where Peter Pan and Captain Hook were locked in an epic water bomb and wet sponge battle. Children joined Pan on a fast-paced mission to outsmart Hook and uncover hidden treasure.

Narnia

Through a fur-filled wardrobe, guests stepped into a snowy Narnian landscape. Welcomed by Mr Tumnus and challenged by the White Witch, children took part in ice sculpting, snowy trials, and a huge snowball fight amid falling fake snow.

Wonka's Factory

Beyond the Wonka gates, a candy-filled garden awaited. Giant gummy bears, lollipops, and candy canes framed chocolate making with Oompa Loompas, self-pouring hot chocolate, golden ticket challenges, and sweets plucked from a giant pineapple sweetie tree.

School of Wizardry

Professor Snape led a theatrical magical class featuring potion making, sherbet experiments, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans taste tests, and plenty of explosive surprises.

Wonderland Tea Party

The Cheshire Cat, Alice, and the White Rabbit escorted guests to a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, where tables overflowed with magical treats, pink lemonade tea, and playful details straight from Wonderland.

Quidditch Championships

After tea, guests were summoned to the Quidditch pitch, refereed by Dumbledore. The match reached peak excitement when the Golden Snitch appeared out of nowhere, sprinting across the field in a flash of gold.

Disco Night & Camp-Out

As evening fell, the barn transformed into a high-energy disco with a light-up dance floor, break dancers, mirror balls, and rock-eoke with a live band. The night ended in a tipi campsite village with campfire cooking, hot chocolate, marshmallow toasting, storytelling, and songs under the stars.
