When our client challenged us to design a corporate fundraising event that would unite their entire European team in a fun and accessible way, we knew it had to be something bold. Their previous events focused on athleticism and endurance, but this time it needed to be inclusive, creative, and wildly engaging. Enter Challenge 24 - a high-energy, multi-stage fundraising adventure like no other.
The brief was clear: create a memorable fundraising experience that would bring together colleagues from across Europe, regardless of age, background, or fitness level.
The client wanted an event that encouraged teamwork, creativity, and friendly competition, while still being accessible and enjoyable for everyone. It needed to reflect their brand values, deliver measurable impact, and leave participants feeling energised, connected, and proud to support a great cause.
Our internal team of creatives developed a bold concept: a 3-stage, 24-hour challenge that would take participants from Romford to Osea Island, a tidal island off the east coast.
Each stage was carefully designed to test different skills, encourage collaboration, and deliver high-energy fun, while ensuring the experience remained accessible to all. From planning the route to designing immersive challenges along the way, every detail was crafted to create an unforgettable, adrenaline-filled adventure.
Bringing Challenge 24 to life required meticulous planning and seamless execution. Over 180 guests were supported by a 60-strong Sharky + George team, with 35 campervans providing transport and logistics for the 3-phase, 8-hour stages.
From the starting line in Romford to the finish on Osea Island, our team coordinated every detail – challenges, timing, catering, and safety – ensuring a smooth, high-energy experience that kept participants engaged, motivated, and having the time of their lives.
